TitanX Engine Cooling is a world-leading global supplier of engine cooling systems for commercial vehicles. The business is expanding and its market share is growing. The company starts new factories in several continents.

– We are competitive in our traditional market. At the same time, we are growing in new business and product areas that are connected to electric vehicles, says Arnaud Contet, Advanced Engineering Director at TitanX.

All truck manufacturers work to develop trucks that are electric and can carry out transports without emitting greenhouse gases. Increased durability is one of the main driving forces for electrification. The new electric trucks also need cooling systems, but place new demands on cooling. Electric vehicles are powered by batteries and electronics.

– Cooling systems for electric trucks are more complex than they are for combustion trucks, says Arnaud Contet. If we cool incorrectly – too much or too little – the battery feels bad.

In ten years’ time, perhaps half of all trucks will be electrified.

– We are prepared for these changes in the market, says Arnaud Contet. As the production of internal combustion engines decreases, our production of products for them will also decrease. They will be replaced by products for electric vehicles.
