Apple ice cold – not among the 100 most popular workplaces
Apple and Meta no longer qualify for the list of the 100 most popular places to work in the United States.
It is clear when Glassdoor, which allows employees to anonymously rate workplaces, presents its annual list.
It is the first time since the list began to be published in 2009 that Apple does not qualify. Meta, formerly Facebook, has been on the list every year since 2011.
Meta has had a tough 2022 and had to lay off 11,000 employees. Something that may have influenced the company’s exit.
For Apple’s part, the company’s policy that employees must now return to the offices, after previously being able to work from home, is stated as a reason for reduced popularity.
Despite the fact that the tech giants, which last year placed roughly in the middle of the list, are now leaving, 40 percent of the companies on the list are still in the technology industry.
At the top of the list is the software company Gainsight, which for the first time qualifies for the list.
